ISO 14001: Environmental Management System
End of Life Equipment
All equipment that enters our facility is rigorously tested to verify if there is still utility left in the item or if it is deemed as end of life material. We will re-purpose any and all equipment that still has utility to minimize the impact on the environment. If equipment is deemed as end of life, we ensure that all items are recycled in an environmentally safe manner. We use multiple downstream vendors that are also R2 Certified to ensure all equipment is recycled properly and that none of it ends up in a landfill. This process is all tracked and recorded through our unique, genuine environmental health and safety management system (EHSMS).
Day-to-day operations
We strive to minimize our impact on the environment in our day-to-day operations at our facility as well. We have a recycling initiative to recycle over 2,000 pounds of non-viable cardboard for the year ending 2020. Any materials that are in good condition will be repurposed for shipping and packing. We have implemented three solar panel security cameras on the outside of our facility to minimize our carbon footprint.
Training
All employees including upper management and ownership undergo rigorous training to ensure all protocols and regulations are followed and understood. We train employees on our procedures for recycling initiatives on in house materials and goals for minimal impact on the environment. We stress the importance of our impact on not just our community but the world as a whole to strive to create a better future and tomorrow for generations to come.
